i Coach,

I‘m thinking about using DHS Hurricane 3 neo rubbers. I‘m a amateur player with a solid technique. Should I boost the rubbers or can I use it without a booster ?

    Hi Max,

Great to hear from you! Using DHS Hurricane 3 neo rubbers is a good choice, especially if you have a solid technique. These rubbers are known for their tackiness and spin capabilities, which can help you generate a lot of spin in your shots.

Whether or not you should boost these rubbers depends on your playing style and preferences. If you prefer a bit more speed and power in your shots, you can consider boosting them. Boosting can enhance the rubber's performance, giving you that extra kick. However, if you're comfortable with the rubber's stock characteristics, you can certainly use them without a booster.

Boosting can also make the rubber a bit softer, which can be beneficial for players who like a softer feel and more control in their shots. So, it's a matter of personal preference.

In your case, as an amateur player with a solid technique, I would recommend trying the rubbers without a booster first. Get used to the feel and performance of the rubber in its natural state. If you find that you need a bit more power or speed, you can experiment with boosting later on.

Remember, the key to success in table tennis is practice and consistency. Whichever choice you make regarding boosting, make sure to put in the hours on the table to refine your technique and improve your game.

Best of luck with your table tennis journey, Max!

    Warm regards, Coach EmRatThich PingSunday
